Raul was born in May 1989 in Mexico. His father is a plastic artist and his mother is a passionate cook that has a profession that evolved from this passion. Raul was raised in a rural area of northwest Mexico, which has served as inspiration. He attempts to create dishes that interpret and share his rural background of ingredients in his cooking style.

Raul is the creator of the essay " Beyond the Sea", which seeks to support the inhabitants of the mountain, dignifying their work and promoting their culture. His desire is to reduce the impact of man on the oceans and the communities that have been victims of those only interested in the investments  and consumerism, overlooking their real needs. Raul introduces and uses the ancestral techniques and ingredients in his style of cooking to support this endeavor.
